The world of otome games is a difficult world for mobs. Season 2 continues the story of the hero who found himself inside a romantic game, but instead of the role of the chosen one, he received the status of an extra, forced to survive among the absurd rules and unfair structure of society. The world around is beautiful and elegant, with balls, duels and noble manners, but hidden behind the façade is a rigid hierarchy, where female characters have power, and men are often turned into a resource. The hero is not going to humble himself and uses his knowledge of scenarios, mechanics and hidden branches to gain influence and protect those who were doomed in the original story. In the second season, the intrigue becomes larger: new schools, new factions, issues of war and diplomacy, as well as the consequences of his past interventions, which break the usual plot and create unpredictable chaos. Romance is mixed with satire here: the series makes fun of the clichés of the genre, but does not humiliate the feelings of the characters, giving them the right to be alive. An important part of the fun is how the hero turns being a mob into an advantage, because he is not noticed until he deals the decisive blow. This is a story about the fight against the system, about the price of freedom and the fact that even in the world of game rules you can play according to your own rules.
